Position Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned professional with 10-15 years of expertise in Apigee and Azure API Management. This role involves spearheading the design and execution of API solutions leveraging Apigee and Azure platforms.

Responsibilities include API release and configuration management, along with a solid understanding of DevOps pipelines and the Scrum methodology.

  • Formulate and uphold API policies focusing on security, rate limiting, and service orchestration.

  • Guarantee the high availability, reliability, and performance of API solutions.
  • Oversee the complete lifecycle of APIs, from inception to retirement.

  • Work in partnership with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to comprehend business needs and convert them into technical specifications.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience as a technical lead or senior developer, particularly with Apigee and Azure API Management.
  • Profound understanding of API design principles and industry best practices.
  • Familiarity with API security standards and protocols (OAuth, OpenID Connect, JWT).
  • Proficient in programming languages pertinent to API development (e.g., JavaScript, Python, .NET).

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Certifications in Apigee and Azure API Management.
  • Experience with alternative API management tools (e.g., MuleSoft, AWS API Gateway).
  • Knowledge of microservices architectures and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
