We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at AdventHealth Parker. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective conduct of surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain the operating room environment, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are functioning properly.
- Assist the surgical team in preparing patients for surgery, including positioning and draping.
- Maintain strict aseptic technique and monitor all team members to ensure no breaks in technique.
- Perform instrument, sharps, and sponge counts with the circulator as per policy.
- Graduate from a school of surgical technology, LPN program, RN program, or completion of a military training program that includes surgical technology skills.
- BLS Certification
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
