CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Sprinkler Foreman to join our CHA Fire - Florida Fire Protection Team. This position will require travel to various locations in Florida, including Tampa and Winter Springs.
Key Responsibilities- Manage on-site work crews to install fire sprinkler systems in commercial and industrial buildings according to standards.
- Perform final inspections with local, state, and county AHJs.
- Assemble and install metal pipes, tubes, and fittings, including iron, steel, and copper.
- Install and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic components of machines and equipment, such as pumps and tanks.
- Interpret work specifications and fire codes, test systems for leaks, and perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 7 years' industry experience required.
- Valid driver's license required.
- OSHA 30 Training required or must obtain within 30 days of employment.
- Ability to read blueprints and redline fab drawings.
- Ability to perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as working within ducts, crawl spaces, climbing a ladder, outside in the heat or cold, on lift equipment, or dirty environments.
- Ability to work at heights in a man lift and lift 50+ pounds above head.
- Strong working knowledge of wet and dry fire sprinkler systems.
- Excellent communication skills and positive customer service attitude.
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Sales aptitude a plus.
- Prior experience leading and overseeing a team.
- Willingness to travel.
$54,000 - $68,000. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
