The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Communications Specialist and Management Consultant to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping and nurturing relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients, promoting the client's initiatives and accomplishments across the Intelligence Community, and driving efficiencies and partnerships.

In this role, you will leverage your organizational communications and management consulting skills and experience to develop creative solutions to complex problems, inform key audiences to help your client achieve their business goals, and use your expertise to design, develop, produce, and consult on a variety of internal and external communication materials and media.

As the organizational advisor of all aspects of oral and written communications for your group, you will develop and author fact sheets, briefings, talking points, newsletter content, website content, and formal organizational responses, with guidance from the client. Your creative thinking and business-oriented mindset will guide your work, and you will use your skills to inform and engage key audiences and help promote an organization's preferred reputation.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic communications plans to support the client's initiatives and objectives
  • Design, develop, produce, and consult on a variety of internal and external communication materials and media
  • Develop and author fact sheets, briefings, talking points, newsletter content, website content, and formal organizational responses
  • Use your expertise to inform and engage key audiences and help promote an organization's preferred reputation
  • Collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and clients to drive efficiencies and partnerships
Requirements
  • 7 years of experience with strategic communications
  • Experience with management consulting as a part of a communications role
  • Ability to research and draft original content for a variety of communications channels, vehicles, and audiences
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HS diploma or GED and 5 years of experience with marketing, public relations, or management consulting or Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with visualizing data and creating dashboards
  • Experience with project management
  • Knowledge of the Intelligence Community
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision and with partners across an organization
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, Management, Architecture, or Engineering preferred; Master's degree in Communications, Business, Management, Architecture, or Engineering a plus
Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
