**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Southwood Realty. As a key member of our maintenance staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the general maintenance and upkeep of our buildings, grounds, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and related systems
  • Assist in training, evaluating, motivating, and supervising maintenance staff
  • Provide superior customer service and ensure overall resident satisfaction
  • Rotate emergency on-call availability with other maintenance staff
  • Perform various maintenance tasks, including lifting/moving appliances with hand trucks
  • Maintain and update inventories and order supplies as needed
  • Ensure compliance with PPE guidelines and occupational safety precautions

Requirements:

  • High School or GED equivalent
  • HVAC certification preferred
  • CPO certification preferred
  • Must pass drug & background screen
  • Reliable transportation and ability to rotate emergency on-call responsibilities

Estimated Salary Range: $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
