Job Title: Facilities Technician

Salary: $58,000 - $68,000 per year

Location: Southwood Realty properties throughout the Southeast

The Facilities Technician will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair of company-owned facilities. This includes performing routine maintenance tasks, responding to service requests, and assisting in the implementation of ongoing property maintenance and improvement plans.

Duties:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to changing air filters, cleaning drains, and checking fire alarms
  • Respond to service requests from residents and staff
  • Assist in the implementation of ongoing property maintenance and improvement plans
  • Produce turns on vacant units within 5 working days
  • Maintain at least 80% of vacant units in ready condition at all times
  • Perform various maintenance tasks and assist in lifting/moving appliances with the use of hand trucks

Requirements:

  • High School or GED equivalent
  • HVAC certification preferred
  • CPO certification preferred
  • Must be able to pass a drug and background screen
  • Must be available to rotate emergency on-call responsibilities, with reliable transportation
