Centrifuge Operator

Cutrale Citrus Juices USA, Inc. is seeking a skilled Oil Production Operator to join our team. As an Oil Production Operator, you will be responsible for operating centrifuges and other oil room equipment to produce high-quality products and ingredients in accordance with company standards.

• Operate centrifuges and other oil room equipment to produce high-quality products and ingredients.
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs.
• Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Set water level set points to extractors, monitor and change air-operated pumps as necessary, change finisher screens, drum, dump, and refine oil, recover raw oil, operate separator and other centrifuge devices, monitor equipment operations, and report abnormalities to supervisor.
• Distinguish tools and their uses, maintain accurate logs and records, communicate with other departments, assist supervisors and "C" Operator as needed, ensure good safety practices, identify parts, operate forklift to move products, equipment, and supplies, perform cleaning and sanitation of equipment to ensure GMP standards, assemble and disassemble equipment for periodic servicing and cleaning, document actions by completing production and quality logs, follow all Good Manufacturing Practices, and perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED or related knowledge and skill as described below.
• Vocational school or some college preferred.
• Knowledge and skill equivalent to completion of high school, ability to identify equipment problems, ability to understand, record, and communicate product description and codes, ability to communicate with other associates, requires forklift license, or must be able to attain forklift license, ability to operate a computer, ability to multitask, and good math skills required.

Work is performed both in and out of doors, requires exposure to temperature extremes, high noise levels, vibrations, moving equipment, wetness, etc., work is performed on rotating shifts.
