Robotics Instructor

The WSU Tech is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adjunct Faculty in Automation to join our team. As an Adjunct Faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and training in robotics and automation to students in a post-secondary education institution.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct classroom lectures and practical demonstrations on robotics and automation.
- Design and administer assessments, quizzes, and practical examinations to evaluate student progress and proficiency.
- Work with local, regional, and national employers to determine training needs and educational program opportunities.
- Develop customized training activities and oversee the fiscal, physical, and human resources needed to support these activities.
- Schedule, arrange, and attend meetings with employers to discuss current training needs and available training resources.
- Write applications and proposals, negotiate contracts, complete reports, supervise billing, and maintain documents for all programs funded by grants, special governmental funding, or employer reimbursement.
- Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree and 1,000 hours certified job experience or 4,000 hours certified job experience required.
- Extensive experience with electronics, industrial wiring, programmable logic controls, motors and motor controls, instrumentation, industrial robotics systems, and manufacturing automation concepts.
- Advanced user skills in MS Word, MS Outlook, and MS Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with a wide variety of individuals coming from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work a varied work schedule to accommodate the needs of the adult student.
- Ability to communicate effectively, prioritize workflow, work well with minimum supervision, and accept responsibility for total task completion.
- Ability to identify and problem solve issues.
- Knowledge of local job market.
- Ability to maintain accurate reports and other records.
- Knowledge of social resources within the community.
- Ability to work closely with other members of a team for common goals.
- Effective time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines in a timely manner, and prudently prioritize tasks, projects, and goals.
