About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Medical Assistant to join our team at Tennessee Heart and Vascular. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our physicians in delivering exceptional medical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking vital signs and obtaining medical histories
  • Assist physicians with minor surgeries and physicals, and prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies
  • Administer injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy
  • Answer telephone calls and screen referrals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program or one year of direct clinical patient care experience in a healthcare setting
  • Active and unrevoked RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA certification/ABR-OE credentials is highly preferred
