POSITION SUMMARY
The Coach Finisher role is essential for ensuring that all coaches and their components are painted with exceptional quality and precision, aligning with customer expectations and our stringent manufacturing standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare surfaces of coaches by cleaning, sanding, and masking to facilitate a flawless paint application.
- Mix and match paint colors to deliver consistent and accurate finishes, adhering to brand specifications.
- Utilize various painting techniques to achieve an even coat and smooth finish.
- Conduct inspections of painted surfaces to identify and rectify imperfections, ensuring a durable and impeccable finish.
- Perform touch-ups on coaches and smaller components as necessary.
- Execute spot spraying as required.
- May involve body repair work, buffing, and decaling as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience as a Coach Finisher or in a similar capacity.
- Comprehensive knowledge of painting methods, color matching, and surface preparation techniques.
- Ability to thrive in a physically demanding environment, including bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in confined spaces.
- Strong hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity, with the ability to accurately distinguish colors and operate hand, air, and power tools.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven problem-solving abilities, whether independently or as part of a team.
- Capability to work efficiently in a high-volume, multi-tasking environment.
