Key Responsibilities
As a Senior IT Support Engineer, you'll provide second-level support for external software users and first-level support for internal business partners. Your tasks will include:
- Monitoring support tickets and diagnosing issues with internal partners
- Collaborating with database administrators, software engineers, and DevOps teams to resolve problems
- Working in an Agile environment, contributing to our iterative development process
- Designing, configuring, and managing integration technologies and core financial systems
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 2 years of experience in Support Engineering
- Hands-on experience with Unisys or mainframe systems
- Demonstrated experience with software development tools and technologies
- Progressive Project Management exposure
- Familiarity with one or more object-orientated programming, scripting, and query languages
- Experience with integrations such as managed file transfers
- Fluency in version control systems
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to be on-call as needed

About the Role
This is a dynamic role that requires a strong technical background and excellent communication skills. As a Senior IT Support Engineer, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and provide exceptional support to our internal and external customers.
What You'll Do
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Evaluate and prioritize incoming support tickets, determining urgency and next steps
- Conduct advanced research and problem-solving for internal customer and member issues
- Diagnose and analyze complex issues using logs and monitoring tools
- Escalate and coordinate fixes with Software Engineers and DevOps teams
- Identify and fix code bugs, making necessary software enhancements
- Respond efficiently to unplanned events like system failures
- Prepare and update technical documentation in a dynamic environment
- Assist IT leadership with reporting and data needs using SQL queries
- Mentor support engineers, providing technical guidance and managing escalations
- Design, configure, and manage integration technologies and core financial systems
