Engineering Program Manager, Games, Apple Services

As a Games Engineering Program Manager at Apple, you will lead development projects for the App Store's most popular category, working with our engineering teams to build experiences that impact millions of users worldwide.
Key Responsibilities- Drive the day-to-day program activities for all Game Center development projects, including planning, execution, and risk assessments, to meet the overall program objectives.
- Help set the strategy, execute on the schedule, and communicate status and issues to stakeholders at all levels.
- Interface and collaborate with cross-functional partners to drive scope alignment, schedule alignment, and issue resolution.
- Develop and iterate on project management methodologies to increase efficiency, while staying aligned with Apple's development practices and project lifecycle processes.
- 5+ years of technical program management in software development involving complex client/server architecture.
- Strong technical proficiency in software architecture and development.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem solving, and logical structuring abilities with clear ability to turn incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs into solid action plans.
- Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) to all levels of an organization.
- Strong facilitation skills (requirements sessions, design meetings, progress and status meetings).
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership and drive multiple tasks to completion with minimal oversight, showing strong self-motivation and accountability.
- Experience with iOS app development on UI features with design team.
- Experience in game development or other games industry background.
- Bonus points for past programming experience.
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $157,000 and $236,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
