Job Title: Aquatics Associate

VillaSport Athletic Club and Spa is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Aquatics Associate to join our team. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our members and guests while providing exceptional customer service.

Job Summary:

The Aquatics Associate will perform lifeguard duties, implement and enforce all water safety policies and procedures, prevent and respond to emergencies, and act as a customer service ambassador to members and guests. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform lifeguard duties, including surveillance and rescue operations
  • Implement and enforce all water safety policies and procedures
  • Prevent and respond to emergencies, including medical emergencies and pool-related incidents
  • Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests, including answering questions and addressing concerns
  • Assist with pool maintenance and cleaning, as needed
Requirements:
  • Familiarity with the aquatics industry
  • Swimming proficiency
  • Minimum of 1 year lifeguarding experience, preferred
  • Current American Red Cross or Ellis and Associates Lifeguard Certification (includes CPR/First Aid/AED for the Professional Rescuer)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service
