Job Title: Substation Design Engineer

Electrical Consultants, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Substation Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical power systems for our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical power systems for substations, transmission lines, and distribution systems
  • Develop and deliver physical, electrical, civil, and communication design studies, calculations, drawings, exhibits, and specifications
  • Collaborate with project engineers and subject matter experts to ensure high-quality project delivery
  • Coordinate with designers, drafters, and support staff to ensure timely project completion
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in power engineering
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Design engineering experience and knowledge of power engineering principles and applicable codes and standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organization and planning skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Commitment to quality and accuracy
  • Willingness to meet fast-paced project schedules
