Role Responsibilities
The CT Technologist plays a vital role in both inpatient and outpatient settings, performing a range of CT imaging procedures essential for diagnosing medical conditions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Administering care tailored to the patient's condition and age.
- Determining the optimal positioning for imaging and ensuring patient safety.
- Collaborating with physicians and imaging staff to ensure quality care.
- Maintaining sterile techniques during all procedures.
- Adhering to infection control protocols specific to the CT department.
- Completing all required documentation promptly after each procedure.
Qualifications
- Current Florida License as a Certified Radiologic Technologist.
- ARRT Certification.
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist training program.
- Preferred experience of 2 years in the field.
- CT registration or completion within 6 months of employment.
