Job Summary

We're seeking a Full-Time Nursing Assistant to join our Long Term Care team at Lake Minnetonka Shores. As a Nursing Assistant, you'll play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met.

Responsibilities

  • Perform ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) as scheduled and assist other Resident Assistants as needed, maintaining consistency with regulations and established best practices.
  • Monitor changes in residents' conditions and report any concerns to the nursing team.
  • Transfer and assist residents with mobility using various methods, including gait belts and mechanical lifts.
  • Ensure residents are cared for with dignity and respect.

Qualifications

  • Caregiving experience preferred, but applicants without experience will be considered.
  • Nursing Assistant Certification is required for Long Term Care; Assisted Living does not require any certifications.
  • Demonstrated compatibility with our mission and operating philosophies.
  • Commitment to work every other weekend and scheduled holidays.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
