Position: Personal Care Assistant
Eden Senior Care is in search of a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to enhance the quality of life for our residents. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering outstanding care, ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our residents in a nurturing environment. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing personal care, companionship, and support with daily activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver kind, caring, and consistent companionship and support to residents.
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility, while promoting independence.
- Engage residents in one-on-one and group activities to foster social interaction.
- Support residents during mealtimes and assist with light housekeeping duties within the care environment.
- Champion the philosophy of compassionate memory care.
- Document daily activities and resident concerns in accordance with care policies and state regulations.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to policies and procedures, preventing accidents, and ensuring proper training.
- Respond promptly to resident, family, and staff concerns to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Completion of all required CBRF training
- A genuine love for working with people and a positive attitude towards challenges.
- Experience in long-term care or assisted living settings.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Commitment to professionalism and compassionate interactions with residents, families, and colleagues.
