Position: Personal Care Assistant


We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to our residents. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about delivering outstanding care, ensuring the safety, comfort, and overall well-being of our residents in a warm and inviting atmosphere.


Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver consistent, caring companionship and support to residents.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility, promoting independence as much as possible.
  • Engage residents in one-on-one and group activities to enhance their social interaction.
  • Support residents during mealtimes and assist with light housekeeping duties in the care environment.
  • Champion the philosophy of compassionate memory care.
  • Document daily activities and any changes in resident conditions according to established policies and regulations.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Respond promptly to resident, family, and staff concerns to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Completion of all required CBRF training is essential.
  • A genuine passion for working with seniors and a positive attitude in challenging situations.
  • Experience in long-term care or assisted living settings is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional and caring interactions with residents, families, and colleagues are crucial.
