About the Role

ASRC Federal is seeking a highly skilled Performance Test Engineer to support a federal contract. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating, modifying, and processing load and performance testing for various applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Custom Tool Development: Responsible for building and maintaining custom tools and databases, including gathering requirements and determining the proper solution/implementation.
  • Load/Performance Testing: Responsible for planning and conducting bi-annual load/performance testing on critical high-visibility enterprise applications.
  • Automation Scripting: Responsible for working with the automation team to plan, build, and implement automated load and testing scripts.
  • Penetration Testing Support: Responsible for assisting and supporting the penetration testing team as needed.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Responsible for working with various development groups to identify methods for implementing load and performance testing tools and scenarios, and collaborating with development, QA, and operations teams to resolve performance issues.
  • Performance Test Scripting: Responsible for designing, developing, and executing performance test scripts using JMeter.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Responsible for generating comprehensive performance test reports and communicating findings to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree (ideally in Computer Science or related) or equivalent work experience.

  • Scripting and manipulating JMeter test scripts and data using Groovy or other languages.
Clearance Requirements

This position requires SECRET security clearance, so the successful candidate will have this level of clearance, or be able to obtain SECRET clearance. US Citizenship is required.
