Nurse Practitioner

The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse to join our team at Pine River LTC. As a PRN nurse, you will provide high-quality care to our residents, working a variety of shifts to meet the needs of our facility.
Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to residents of all ages in long-term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
- Demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles for the resident in the relevant clinical setting.
- Conduct assessments, administer medications, and provide technical support to healthcare professionals as needed.
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary.
- Counsel residents, family members, and/or resident advocates on prevention and treatment plans.
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
