Job Summary:

The CT Technologist operates computerized tomography equipment to produce detailed images of various portions of the human body for patients across all age groups.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CT equipment to acquire high-quality images of designated body parts as prescribed by physicians.
  • Perform scans on neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Administer intravenous contrast when required and ensure accurate placement of intravenous catheters.
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy to effectively capture and analyze images.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, physicians, and other healthcare personnel.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Registration as a CT Technologist from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), or eligibility for registration.
  • Basic knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
  • Ability to insert intravenous catheters.
  • Certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with diverse patient populations and healthcare professionals.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior training or experience in Computed Tomography (CT) scanning.
