About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon Web Services, Inc. As a trusted customer advocate, you will help organizations understand best practices around advanced cloud-based solutions and provide advice on strategies for migrating existing workloads to the cloud.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and build scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures and solutions
  • Collaborate with AWS Sales and other AWS teams to help address customer business challenges and accelerate the adoption of AWS services
  • Provide expertise on cloud-based solutions and strategies for migrating existing workloads to the cloud
  • Mobilize resources within AWS and work with our extensive partner network to drive successful business outcomes
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas, such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, and data & analytics
  • 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience
  • Knowledge of SAP systems and their architecture and infrastructure needs
  • Experience working with end-user or developer communities

Our base pay ranges from $138,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000/year in our highest geographic market.
