Salary: $54,000 per year

This is a prestigious postdoctoral research position at the Department of Clinical Sciences, North Carolina State University.

The successful candidate will be part of a renowned program designed to prepare individuals for diplomate status in the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists after 4 years.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct physical and ophthalmic examinations with primary case responsibility
  • Review medical records and laboratory data prior to morning rounds
  • Participate in scholarly activities and contribute to academic achievement and recognition
  • Fulfill requirements for the residency by the ophthalmology program at NCSU and the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists

Requirements:

  • Eligibility for the North Carolina Veterinary Licensure
  • No commercial driver's license required

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 - 5:00pm, with some weekends and holidays required.
