Position Overview:

As a Lead Tax Compliance Specialist at 77 Consultants, you will play a crucial role in managing complex tax obligations for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will ensure that our clients remain compliant with all applicable tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation, examination, and compliance of intricate multistate tax filings, consolidated tax returns, and international reporting for both corporate entities and individual clients.
  • Ensure adherence to tax regulations while preparing and reviewing tax returns for affluent individuals.
  • Manage a portfolio of client accounts, fostering direct relationships with partners and clients to provide exceptional service.
  • Supervise and mentor Associate Accountants, guiding them in their professional development.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of international tax principles applicable to both individual and business tax returns.
  • Familiarity with Forms 990 and 990PF is advantageous.

  • Required Qualifications:

Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting; a Master's degree is highly preferred.
Possession of a CPA designation or the ability to fulfill the 150-credit requirement for CPA eligibility.
Experience with ProSystem Tax or OneSource Trust Tax is beneficial.
In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP/GAAS and U.S. taxation principles.
Prior experience in public accounting with a focus on individual, corporate, and partnership taxation is essential.
