We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Career Development Specialist to join our team at Advocates. As an Employment Coach, you will play a pivotal role in assisting individuals with disabilities in attaining and maintaining employment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored support to help participants develop essential job skills and navigate the employment process with confidence.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify their strengths and goals, and develop personalized employment plans.
  • Conduct group and one-on-one sessions to promote job readiness, independence, and integration into the workforce.
  • Work closely with clients to address any challenges or barriers to employment, and provide ongoing support and guidance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 1 year experience working with individuals with disabilities/autism.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to transport clients in own vehicle.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good time management skills and attention to detail.
