As a Product Review Engineer 3, you will be responsible for applying your knowledge of client design principles to assess and resolve product/process issues through the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply engineering principles to research technical, operational, and quality issues that cannot be resolved by the customer.
  • Develop and document interim and permanent engineering dispositions to ensure aircraft airworthiness and overall USAF C-17 OSS&E.
  • Use innovative approaches and unique applications to solve complex nonconforming conditions.
  • Identify documents, analyze reported problems, and communicate deviations that could impact design intent and safety; recommend and manage resolutions.
  • Provide design phase subject matter expertise by supporting Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and participating in design reviews.
  • Participate in on-site disabled aircraft repair/recovery teams, safety or accident investigation boards, and aircraft maintenance recovery teams.
  • Design interim and permanent aircraft structural repairs and conduct static strength analysis.
  • Develop customer correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment.
  • Develop and implement technical training curriculum for internal and external customers.
  • Develop and implement product/process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.
  • Typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
  • Ability to work unsupervised for extended periods of time in a wide variety of cultural/economic environments.

Working Conditions:

  • 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required.
