Qualifications for Lead Teacher:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 45 hours of Child Growth and Development training
- 45 hours in Preschool Curriculum (mandatory for leading 2-5 year olds)
- 45 hours Infant-Toddler Certificate (mandatory for leading 6 weeks to 24 months)
- At least one year of experience in a licensed childcare setting with infants or 30 college credits
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven understanding of the various stages of social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Commitment to continuous professional growth
- Physical capability to stand, bend, squat, jump, dance, walk, run, reach, carry, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Development or a related field (preferred)
Bambini Montessori Academy is dedicated to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. Our focus is on delivering a curriculum that is tailored to the developmental needs of our students, fostering a collaborative atmosphere among our educators.
Job Type: Full-time and Part-time positions available
Work Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM
- Full-time (8 hours) or Part-time (3+ hours per day)
Experience:
- Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
Compensation: $20.00 per hour
