About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Camp Nurse to join our team at the Central Connecticut Coast YMCA. This is a full-time, seasonal position that requires a commitment to providing exceptional healthcare services to our campers and staff.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing health care and first aid services to campers and staff
  • Developing and maintaining personal relationships with campers and staff
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports

Requirements

  • Current certifications in CPR for the Professional Rescuer and American Red Cross First Aid
  • 1+ year of experience in working with youth and teens
  • Licensed Practical Nurse, Registered Nurse or a Licensed Physician preferred
