Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon Director of Orthopedic Research

We are seeking a highly skilled Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to serve as the Director of Orthopedic Research at Denver Health. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented surgeon to lead our research efforts and advance the field of orthopedic surgery.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate research efforts within the department, including securing research grants and navigating IRB processes.
- Oversee data management and statistical analysis to ensure the accuracy and integrity of research findings.
- Develop and implement research projects, including designing studies, collecting and analyzing data, and publishing results.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management and optimal outcomes.
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in orthopedic surgery, emphasizing both clinical skills and academic knowledge.
- Doctorate degree in medicine (MD) or equivalent.
- Board certification in orthopedic surgery.
- Experience in research and academic leadership, including securing research funding and publishing research.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to analyze complex data and develop effective research strategies.
