We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a contingent position. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Administer vaccinations and injections, including influenza, COVID, and TB test placements
- Obtain vital signs and provide emergency care in collaboration with the provider on site
- Perform patient registration, intake, and checkout, as well as assist with wait room management and other responsibilities
- Prepare the clinic and waiting space for the best patient experience
- Previous experience administering immunizations and injections, with evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education
- Minimum of one year related work experience in a healthcare setting
- Experience documenting within an Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- Ability to take vital signs and possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
