Responsibilities

The Role

Client Relations Specialists are tasked with managing customer inquiries, processing orders, assisting will-call customers, and providing information regarding products and services.

Essential Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To:
Deliver timely and accurate information regarding customer order status and product knowledge requests.

Process customer orders, changes, and returns in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures.

Collaborate closely with the credit department to resolve disputed credit items.

Provide timely feedback to the company concerning service failures or customer concerns.

Work in partnership with the sales team to meet and exceed customer service expectations.

Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all markets and product conditions.
Notify and assist buyers, operations, and sales support personnel by communicating customer needs and preferences.
Foster effective, professional relationships with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
Organize and assist with special sales, promotions, and seasonal items.
Handle administrative tasks required by the Sales Team, including but not limited to pricing reports, order guide maintenance, and correspondence with receiving teams for proof of delivery and order entry.
Ensure compliance with Quality and Food Safety standards.

Spanish bilingual skills are a plus
Knowledge of produce is advantageous.
