Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and customer service. Our pharmacy technicians are the face of our company, interacting with customers and developing strong relationships with our patients.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Technician. In this role, you will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, processing transactions, and providing customer service.

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your skills and knowledge to provide excellent patient care and customer service. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions and processing transactions
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Develop strong relationships with customers and patients, providing personalized care and attention
  • Work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with pharmacists and other staff members to achieve goals and objectives
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and staff
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Basic math skills, with the ability to count, measure, and weigh medications
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
