Cibola General Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team in the Perioperative Services department. As a CRNA, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, as well as providing pain management services.
Key Responsibilities- Pre-Anesthetic Assessment: Conduct thorough pre-anesthetic assessments of patients to identify potential risks and develop an individualized anesthesia plan.
- Anesthesia Care: Provide safe and effective anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, including general, regional, and local anesthesia.
- Pain Management: Develop and implement pain management plans for patients, including the use of pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Accurately document patient information, anesthesia plans, and outcomes in a timely and efficient manner.
- Education and Certification: Current certification as a CRNA from the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists (CCNA) or its predecessor, and a graduate degree in nurse anesthesia from an accredited program.
- License and Registration: Current licensure to practice as a CRNA in the state of New Mexico, and registration with the New Mexico Board of Nursing.
- Skills and Knowledge: Strong knowledge of anesthesia principles, pharmacology, and patient assessment, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
