Job Summary
Cibola General Hospital seeks a skilled Nurse Anesthetist to deliver high-quality anesthesia care to patients in various settings. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will utilize your expertise in anesthesia and nursing to ensure safe and effective patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
- Administer anesthesia and manage patient airways, pulmonary status, and vital signs.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate patient records.
Requirements
- Current licensure to practice professional nursing in New Mexico.
- Current certification as a nurse anesthetist from the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
