Position Overview:
The role of the Third-Party Portfolio Risk Manager is pivotal in overseeing the risk management processes associated with external partnerships. This position collaborates closely with various stakeholders, including Product Service Owners (PSOs), Chief Risk Officers (CROs), and compliance teams, to ensure the effective execution of the third-party risk management lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
The individual in this role will:
  • Lead the execution of programs aimed at achieving Service Level Objectives (SLOs) that enhance the management of third-party risks.
  • Foster strong relationships across Risk Management & Compliance (RM&C), Operational Risk, and Technology teams to align business objectives with third-party utilization.
  • Act as the primary liaison for Business Lines (BLs) in managing their third-party portfolios.
  • Maintain robust partnerships with BLs and PSOs during the planning and due diligence phases of third-party selection.
  • Oversee risk assessments and maintain effective communication with third-party contacts to support the PSOs.
  • Ensure comprehensive management of third-party portfolios, including assessments and evaluations.
  • Facilitate the entire process from change requests through due diligence, risk assessment, contracting, and ongoing monitoring.
  • Engage with stakeholders to assist in reporting and updates for Risk Committee meetings.
  • Manage new third-party requests and ensure compliance with risk management protocols.
  • Coordinate contract reviews and negotiations with relevant departments.
  • Monitor remediation plans and ensure that overall portfolio risk aligns with established appetites.
  • Collaborate with Product/Service Owners to enhance third-party performance and resilience.

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Typically requires over six years of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills:
  • Extensive knowledge of Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) and relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and achieve organizational goals through collaboration.
  • Familiarity with business operations, products, and associated risks.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Work Environment:
This position offers a hybrid work schedule, requiring in-office attendance for part of the week while allowing flexibility for remote work.
