Position Overview:
A Heavy Load Transport Operator is tasked with the critical responsibility of loading, transporting, and unloading oversized cargo and equipment utilizing a specialized winch truck.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely navigate to job sites; winch and secure cargo onto the trailer.
- Ensure secure delivery of loads using winch mechanisms.
- Maintain load securing equipment in optimal condition.
- Provide assistance to the Crane Division as required.
- Actively participate in safety meetings.
- Adhere to company, client, and health/safety regulations, along with any other necessary guidelines.
- Promptly report any incidents or accidents.
- Capable of working in various weather conditions.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Essential Skills:
- Familiarity with load permits and state and federal driving regulations.
- Ability to safely secure loads for transport.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Team-oriented mindset.
- Physical capability to lift up to 75 lbs and handle demanding tasks.
- Must maintain a clean-shaven appearance.
- Effective oral and basic written communication skills.
- Successful completion of a Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol screening and participation in random testing.
- Passing a background check and motor vehicle record check is mandatory.
- Reliable transportation to and from work is essential.

Work Environment:
This role operates primarily outdoors, frequently exposed to varying weather conditions including extreme cold, heat, wind, and rain.

Position Type and Hours:
This is a full-time role that often requires extended hours and weekend work based on operational demands.

Licenses and Certifications:
- Valid Driver's License
- Class A CDL, required

Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience with winch operations is preferred.
