Job Summary

We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated graduate nurses to join our team at Jefferson Hospital, a part of Allegheny Health Network. Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Initiate interdisciplinary plans of care, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, promoting effective communication among caregivers.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of division, hospital, and department goals, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Provide patient education and guidance, empowering patients and families to manage their care and make informed decisions.
  • Support the development of students, new staff, and colleagues, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
Qualifications
  • Temporary Practice Permit
  • CPR - American Heart Association
  • Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
  • Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
  • Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
