The Registrar Director will oversee the management of the Office of Registrar, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, student records, and staff responsibilities. This role requires a commitment to serving a diverse college community and actively participating in continuous quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Manage federal compliance, including FERPA, and enrollment and degree compliance reporting.
- Ensure staff are trained and follow policies and procedures, maintaining a healthy and safe working environment.
- Oversee the overall operations of the Office of Registrar, including planning, coordinating, and evaluating programs and projects.
- Provide technical and professional oversight and leadership in the execution of program/project activities.
- Develop and track continuous quality improvement indicators and lead key strategic technology initiatives.
- Manage departmental budget and resources, including contract, grant, and state funding.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the work of the department and the college.
- Bachelor's degree and two years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified, including one year in a supervisory/management capacity.
- Required to complete AACRAO federal compliance certification within six months.
