Job Title: Mig Welder

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mig Welder to join our team at Aerotek. As a Mig Welder, you will be responsible for welding steel structural parts as specified per drawings or prints. You will also operate a grinder to prepare and finish welds, and set up the welding machine to ensure proper welding within specifications.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform MIG welding on steel structural parts
  • Operate grinder to prepare and finish welds
  • Set up welding machine to ensure proper welding within specifications
  • Read and interpret drawings or prints to ensure accurate welding
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and quality

Requirements:
  • 1G Weld Test and 2G Weld Test within 6 months
  • MIG welding experience
  • Structural welding experience on aluminum, metal, and steel
  • Ability to read a tape measure down to 1/16th inch

Work Environment:
This is a 3rd shift position (10pm - 6am) with a competitive salary of $80k-85k. We offer weekly pay, employee benefits, and a 401(k) plan. Aerotek is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from all qualified candidates.
