We are seeking an experienced Civil Estimator to join our team at Balfour Beatty. As a key member of our estimating team, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting accurate and timely estimates for rail and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and submit estimates for new build and maintenance projects, including earthworks, track, signaling, electrical, overpasses, bridge work, tunnels, and stations.
- Provide technical input to ensure estimates are accurate and meet project requirements.
- Liaise with commercial team members and stakeholders to ensure estimates are aligned with project goals.
- Lead the estimating team and provide effective people management.
- Previous experience in large rail or heavy industry project estimation with a leading contractor.
- Proven experience working on cost estimates for rail projects or capital works programs.
- Extensive knowledge of civil and transit construction, design, finance, and management.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
