Agronomy Sales Professional

CHS Inc. is a leading global agribusiness that provides grain, food, and energy resources to businesses and consumers worldwide. We are seeking a motivated and self-driven Agronomy Sales Representative to join our team in Velva, ND. As a key member of our agriculture organization, you will work closely with farmers, ranchers, and producers to promote the proper use of crop protection products, plant food, seed, and other services offered at the cooperative.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with customers to achieve retail sales goals and execute sales strategies.
- Identify opportunities to provide consultative services for businesses and customers, leveraging your knowledge of crop protection products and agricultural practices.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships by providing proactive service, identifying customer needs, and responding promptly.
- Build working knowledge of various products, including crop protection chemicals, fertilizers, and seeds.
- Maintain and promote a strong safety culture, adhering to all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Participate in product training, CHS Sales Training, and National Sales Certification programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
