Tustin Energy Solutions, LLC is currently seeking qualified candidates to undertake the installation and programming of HVAC automation systems in the PA/NJ and MD regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain building automation systems.
  • Perform installations involving line voltage and low voltage wiring, unitary HVAC controllers, actuators, relays, sensors, and end devices.
  • Program unitary controllers, area controllers, and web-based applications.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance, repairs, installations, commissioning, and general servicing of systems.
  • Interpret and understand the operational sequences of basic HVAC systems (CAV, VAV, Multi-zone, etc.).
  • Report punctually to all assigned shifts and work locations.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding services provided and any outstanding issues.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with clients to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Make recommendations to clients for upgrades, repairs, and system enhancements.
  • Train end-users on the operation of building automation systems.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation schedule.
  • Submit daily paperwork and service reports in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with IT professionals on web deployment, demonstrating knowledge of user interfaces, data servers, IP networking devices, protocols, routers, switches, and hubs.
  • Perform other duties related to the commissioning and servicing of building control systems.

Work Schedule:

8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with on-call and overtime requirements.

Supplemental Pay:

Bonus pay may be available based on eligibility.

Work Locations:

Multiple locations in PA, NJ, and MD.

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience with HVAC BAS systems.
  • Vocational or Associate Degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with low voltage power, communication, and network wiring practices.
  • Preferred knowledge of systems such as Niagara N4, AX, and Sedona Platforms.
  • Understanding of American Auto-Matrix PUP protocols and Honeywell Spyder product line.
  • Knowledge of BACnet, LON, and Modbus protocols is advantageous.
  • Additional knowledge of Carrier CCN/i-Vu products and Johnson Controls N2 protocol is a plus.

Licenses/Certifications:

A valid Driver's License is required.

Training will be provided upon hire for the existing product line after a successful review period.

Candidates must be able to safely climb ladders, work in confined spaces, lift heavy objects, and perform other physically demanding tasks.

Strong interpersonal skills are essential, along with proficiency in basic computer applications such as MS Office and email.
