Position Overview:
As a Mechanical Assembly Technician at Nammo Defense Systems Inc., you will play a vital role in the production and support of advanced defense systems, including shoulder-fired systems and energetic material solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Mechanical Assembly Technician, your primary duties will include:
- Accurately positioning components in relation to one another
- Operating both automatic and manual processing machinery
- Utilizing various hand and power tools, jigs, and fixtures
- Adapting to different workstations based on production requirements
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety in the workspace
- Conducting routine maintenance on equipment as necessary
- Identifying and reporting any operational discrepancies
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or packaging is preferred
- The ability to obtain and maintain BATF approval for product handling
Required Skills:
Essential skills for the Mechanical Assembly Technician include:
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting safety regulations and operational manuals
- Consistent punctuality and reliability
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Capability to meet physical demands, including lifting materials weighing between 5-50 lbs
- Ability to secure BATF approval for specific operations involving explosives
