We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Supervisor to join our team at John Muir Health. As a key member of our Medical Imaging department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our ultrasound services, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with the Director of Medical Imaging and other department leaders to develop and implement effective strategies for improving patient care and department efficiency.
- Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their needs are met during the examination process.
- Perform ultrasound procedures with accuracy and thoroughness, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnostic interpretations and patient care.
- Develop and maintain a team of skilled sonographers, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care and department performance.
- Graduate of an accredited school of sonography program preferred.
- 3 years of medical imaging experience, with a focus on sonography.
- Current RDMS license with subspecialty registries in abdomen and OB/GYN, and current RVT license.
- BR breast certification and OB/GYN certification required within 90 days of hire.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
This is a full-time position, working 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. The work shift is 30 minutes prior to 5:00 PM, with no flexibility.
John Muir Health offers a competitive hourly rate of $108.79, based on experience and licensure. This position is exempt from overtime.
