Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver daily and monthly activity programs that cater to diverse interests and abilities.
  • Lead activities and events that promote social interaction, physical activity, and cognitive stimulation.
  • Collaborate with the Activities Director to create a comprehensive activity program that meets the needs of all residents.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as posting schedules and maintaining resident sign-up sheets.
  • Support residents who lead activities, promoting a sense of pride and ownership.

Critical Success Factors:

To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be energetic and enthusiastic, and have a passion for working with seniors. You should also be able to motivate and positively influence residents, demonstrating empathy and understanding in your interactions.
