Position Overview:
As a Commercial Carpenter at PJF Corp, you will be instrumental in the construction, installation, and repair of various structural and finished woodwork. Your craftsmanship will be vital in maintaining the quality and integrity of our projects, from the groundwork to the finishing touches. Key Responsibilities:

- Construct, install, and repair structural and finished woodwork, masonry, tile, furniture, fixtures, equipment, floors, ceiling systems, and roofs.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements accurately.
- Install subfloors, partitions, studs, joists, drywall, rafters, and supports.
- Install millwork, custom cabinetry, stairs, railings, trims, molding, and hardware.
- Repair and install doors, frames, locks, and hardware.
- Work with concrete in excavating, forming, and finishing sidewalks and slabs.
- Perform light to moderate demolition as needed.
- Utilize hand and power tools for various carpentry tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality project completion.
- Adhere to safety regulations and ensure efficient work practices.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Technical Requirements:
- Knowledge of construction practices, procedures, and building codes.
- Familiarity with commercial construction regulations and standards.
- Ability to operate various equipment and tools.
- Proficiency in technology used for project management.
- Experience with Office 365 and project management software.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
Education/Experience:
- High School diploma or GED (Required)
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial carpentry experience
- Experience in ground-up construction and various building types.
License/Certification:
- Valid Driver's License (Required)
- Procore certification (or commitment to obtain within 30 days)
- OSHA-30 certification (or commitment to obtain within 30 days)
Work Environment: The work environment includes exposure to ongoing construction and various weather conditions. Noise levels may vary from moderate to loud.
Physical Requirements: This role requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, navigate uneven surfaces, and occasionally lift materials up to 80 pounds. Candidates must be capable of bending, stooping, kneeling, and crawling as necessary. Strong organizational and multitasking skills are essential.
Compensation: $20-$28 hourly wage
