Position Overview:

MedBridge Healthcare is in search of a dedicated and experienced Registered Sleep Technologist to join our team. This full-time role will involve providing essential sleep services in our state-of-the-art laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting sleep studies and accurately collecting patient data.
  • Preparing and calibrating necessary equipment for testing.
  • Following established polysomnographic protocols, including the application of electrodes and fitting of airway pressure devices.
  • Analyzing clinical events such as respiratory and cardiac disturbances, and compiling data for further evaluation.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma is mandatory.
  • Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program is preferred.
  • Certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) and/or a valid Respiratory Therapist license, along with a Maryland State License, is required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification is essential.

Physical Requirements:

The role demands the ability to:

  • Stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
  • Utilize hands for operating equipment and performing tasks.
  • Lift and/or move weights up to 50 pounds as necessary.
