Volt is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team in a full-time opportunity. As an Assembly Technician, you will play a critical role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the production of high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing Operations: Build and assemble complex mechanisms, structures, and assemblies per latest specified drawings and specifications. Tasks may include the installation of screws, rivets, seals, fasteners, upholstery, electrical wiring, and other various hardware.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and repair production equipment and tools. Promptly notify the manager of any needed repairs or issues.
- Quality Control: Ability to read and interpret detailed blue print drawings.
- Assembly and Installation: Bond, screw, glue or otherwise attach parts together. Drill, countersink, and rivet metal or sheet metal parts as required. Install attachment fittings, as assigned.
- Supply Chain Management: Prepare and organize tools and parts for use in the manufacturing area. Requisition parts as needed from the stockroom.
- Flexibility: Work at different workstations as production needs require.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
Work Schedule: 3:30 pm to 12:00 am.
Compensation: The pay rate for this position will be based on several factors, including education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
