Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); related experience and/or training. Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: The ability to read, and interpret English documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and reports, drawings and schematics The ability to write and/or type routine correspondence or reports. The ability to perform simple shop math including use of decimals, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in all units of measure Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Physical Demands: Ability to pick up tooling and parts from work table to carts and shelves. Ability to access work tubs -20# from overhead of 67”. Ability to retrieve equipment and parts from floor. Ability to work over desk and work tables to access and service equipment. Ability to go up and down steps to go to other areas of plants on second floor. Ability to grasps and carry parts and tooling. Ability to walk to all parts of the plant to look at equipment. Employee will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations. Exposed to a combination of normal office/shop environments with majority of work performed in a shop area. Job tasks are preformed in close physical proximity to other people. Exposed to any number of elements, but none present to the extent of being disagreeable This is a safety sensitive role, "Safety-sensitive" means any job that includes tasks or duties that the employer reasonably believes could affect the safety and health of the employee performing the task or others Employee may be subject to random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations. Requirements Requirements Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; others may be assigned: · Improve work methods and tooling · Report any safety problems to management · Follow all environmental, health and safety policies · Keep work area clean and orderly · Manage ones own time efficiently · Evaluate self work to ensure compliance with work instructions and standards · Study, read, and understand the schematic diagrams, blueprints, product manuals, process documents, and gather information regarding its parts, fixtures, tools, etc. · Set up, arrange, and operate equipment as per the specifications and instructions from the supervisor. · Assemble parts or components to build a new product. · Using hand tools, drills, calipers, heat gun, die grinder, height gages, bench center, lock wire pliers, blind rivet guns, torque wrenches, safety cable tool, and nutsert installation tool · Contribute in fitting, building, or reconstruction of various parts to ensure smooth process of component. · Clock in and out of bar codes to begin and complete work orders · Perform regular test and inspection procedures to ensure that the product is formed in accordance with the specifications · Read and answer email daily · Basic Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel · Basic use Visual MRP system · Wearing the proper safety equipment · Other duties as assigned Salary Description $20-$28
