Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and Repair Industrial Equipment: Utilize advanced knowledge to diagnose and repair complex industrial machinery, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
- Collaborate with Engineering: Work with the engineering team to resolve maintenance issues, improve equipment reliability, and minimize downtime through data-driven analysis.
- Manage CMMS System: Create work orders, upload documentation, and update parts inventory in our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Assist with Inventory and Ordering: Assist with inventory management, cataloging parts, and ordering replacement parts and shop supplies.
- Mentor Maintenance Technician I Employees: Provide guidance and training to junior maintenance technicians on equipment and advanced manufacturing systems.
- Rebuild and Create Special Tools: Rebuild machines, tools, and heavy equipment, and create special tools to assist with production.
- Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED required; trade school preferred. At least 3 years of experience working with mechanical systems, electrical systems, tools, or machinery required.
- Skills and Abilities: Basic computer skills, ability to add, subtract, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions.
- Adaptability: Adapts to changes in the work environment; manages competing demands; changes approach or method to best fit the situation.
